Chairman of the Board
Philip has been a key player in the high technology industry for over thirty years. He was named Top CEO by Morgan Stanley Ventures in Silicon Valley in 2000, and one of his companies was named as one of Forbes Top 50 Best Run Companies in the U.S. Mr. Drayer’s philanthropic endeavors include seven years as an executive board member of the Dallas Symphony, and as the organization’s Chief Operating Officer, He served twelve years on the Lamar University Foundation, the Engineering Advisory Council and the electrical engineering department at Lamar bears his name. Mr. and Mrs. Drayer were key in the establishment of the Karen C. Drayer Wild Life Health Center at the University of California, Davis, which has the number one Veterinary School in the US.
Marc is a venue management and live entertainment industry veteran with over 30 years’ experience in the management and programming of theaters and performing arts centers. His career includes high profile management assignments in internationally recognized venues including Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, the AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas, and the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach. Over the last 15 years, Mr. Engel has promoted concerts in theaters and arenas in over 100 US Cities. As President of Red Tail Entertainment Marc assembled a team of highly experienced industry professionals to manage booking, marketing and production, and to coordinate the various aspects of live entertainment presentation in the US and three Canadian provinces.
David’s professional background includes assignments with the Theatre Communications Group in New York, the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs running the City’s performance venues, and most recently with the AT&T Performing Arts Center as director of programming, and producer of the Center’s Elevator Project series. His work has been described as “groundbreaking” for the Dallas performing arts community. He received his BFA in performance from East Carolina University and his MFA in directing from Southern Methodist University.
Vice President of Marketing
Scott has been in the entertainment and media industry over 30 years marketing live events, movies, radio and television. Events include Paul McCartney, Bon Jovi, Kelly Clarkson, The Smothers Brothers, Ozzfest, The Wild Kratts, River City Rockfest, The Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular and various radio festivals throughout the country. His work in the broadcasting field in programming, marketing and consulting included Susquehanna Radio Dallas, KSHE FM (St. Louis, Mo.) and WMMS FM (Cleveland, Ohio). Strong is a Marconi and National Association of Broadcast awards recipient.
Vice President of Finance
Elizabeth has over 18 years of experience in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration working with small to medium sized businesses, contributing to their growth and success. Prior to Red Tail she worked for a golf merchandise and distribution company first as the Controller and then as the Vice President of Operations for North America where she was instrumental in building financial stability and developing internal processes. During that time, she was given the honor of representing the company at both the PGA Show and at the World Long Drive Championships. She is from Weatherford, Texas and studied at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Director of Production, Red Tail Live! LLC
Tom is providing Production Management for RedTail Live!, working closely with the Artist’s production personnel and the venue to ensure that everything is in place for a pleasant and successful event.
With 30+ years’ experience focused on Event and Facility Management, Tom has collaborated on a diverse variety of concert tours, special events, and theaters in different capacities over the years. This experience brings valuable techniques and skills that are key to the success of any show or event.
Production Manager, Red Tail Live! LLC
With more than a decade of experience in theatre and live event production, John’s passion is bringing people joy through the entertainment industry. As production manager, he oversees the nuts and bolts of a live show and makes sure everything runs smoothly. John graduated from Baylor University in 2011, and since then he has contributed to shows from Los Angeles to Broadway. Prior to this position, he previously worked with Red Tail as the technical director on the national tour of Erth’s Prehistoric Aquarium Adventure.
Manager of Touring Operations/Line Producer
A California native and Texas convert, Brooke has an extensive educational and professional background that accentuates her passion for production. As Manager of Touring Operations and Line Producer at Red Tail Entertainment, Brooke manages the day-to-day logistics of active production projects. She has received three degrees; a BA in Theatre and FTDM (Film, Television & Digital Media), a BS in Graphic Design and an MBA with an emphasis in marketing and entrepreneurship from Texas Christian University.
From Los Angeles, California, Kilea attended and recently graduated from Texas Christian University with a bachelor’s degree in General Studies. She finds joy in listening to music and attending events and productions. She is ready to start her career in the entertainment industry, and most importantly, she is excited to begin her role as Red Tail Entertainment’s Marketing Assistant.
Julissa is a graduate of the University of North Texas and her passion for the arts was lit when she attended Eastfield Community College. She started her professional career at Shakespeare Dallas, working on shows including Shakespeare in Love, Pride and Prejudice, and an 8hr stage reading of The War of the Roses. Julissa is excited to see where this journey in the arts takes her.
